Party Poker is the 2nd largest online poker room. Party Poker is one of the biggest online poker success stories. At one time, before the UIGEA, Party Poker was by far the largest online poker room in terms of cash game players. After banning U.S. players in 2006, Party Poker was able to maintain a strong presence in the rest of the world. Party Poker Rakeback
Party Poker does not provide standard rakeback. Rakeback is paid through their VIP Program. Players will receive up to 50% rakeback depending on their tier. The entry level, Bronze, pay players up to 4% rakeback and the higher tiers are much better. When a player rakes $200 in a month they will go up to Silver which is 13% rakeback. The Gold tier, for players that rake $500 in a month, pays players 15% rakeback. For long term high volume players there is Palladium and Palladium Elite. Players that rake $4500 in a quarter will reach the Palladium tier which pays 30% rakeback. Palladium Elite players, reserved for those that rake $25,000 in a quarter, will receive up to 50% rakeback. The formula to determine rake paid is weighted contributedsystem. This means that the rake credited to players is in direct proportion to the amount that the player contributes to the pot.
Party Poker Bonus
Party Poker offers players that sign up through VIP Rakeback a 100% up to $500 first deposit bonus. The bonus code is VIPRB500. The bonus clears at a rate of six Party Points per $1 in bonus. A Party Point is earned for every $.50 in contributed rake or tournament fees paid. This means the bonus equals 33% rakeback by itself. The bonus is not deducted from your Party Poker VIP Program rewards. The bonus is released in 10% increments and expires after 60 days.
Party Poker Promotions
In addition to the Party VIP program, and deposit bonuses, Party Poker offers players several other promotions. The most popularcommon is the Party Poker Bad Beat Jackpot. When playing at a Bad beat Jackpot table, a player losing four of a kind 8’s or better triggers the prize.
